Aah... gotta love beach prints. Or beach/vintage related prints. I wish I could do magic! * Sep 03 to Sep 12 - Weeping Willow Tree -(the Melancholy) from HERE. WEEPING WILLOW - beautiful but full of melancholy, attractive, very empathetic, loves anything beautiful and tasteful, loves to travel, dreamer, restless, capricious, honest, can be influenced but is not easy to live with, demanding, good intuition, suffers in love but finds sometimes an anchoring partner. Aah... so that explains it. Here's more: Date of Birth: September 2 - September 29 Animal: Swan Gaelic Name: Eala (Approximate pronunciation: ellah.) Ruling Planet: Venus Key Words: Beauty, Love and Soul. Gift Quality or Ability:Swan people are kind and gentle, adept in love and the social arts. Calm and serene with a strong domestic sense. Connection with faerie, shape shifting, and creativity. Birth Stone: Emerald Compatibility: Harmonious relations with the signs of crane and bee. Will also relate well to the owl, cat and bear.Difficulties may be expected in relation to all other signs. Name Analysis: L.D.S. Aranas Expression: 6 The Expression number shows us who we truly are, what we came into this life already knowing. This is where we feel most comfortable and how we automatically act. We attract people and situations to us that require our Expression so that they can further evolve. In this way we play the role of teacher. Naturally we are attracted to occupations that we resonate to, so the Expression number can be a strong factor in our choice of a career as well. Our Expression is the vehicle, with all its virtues and vices, that drives us along the path of our Destiny. It is the essence of our identity. Family and home life are your main interests. You know how to nurture and accept anyone, therefore, many are drawn to you including those that others call, "strays". You have an eye for anything beautiful and your home is sure to reflect this, no matter what your budget is. You are proud of all your possessions and especially of the talents of your family members. Your generous, creative nature makes you the ideal host or guest at a party. Soul Urge: 5 The Soul Urge number has also been called Heart's Desire and Spiritual Urge. It is our secret, innermost longing. Our dream, our motivation, the fuel that energizes our journey. The Soul Urge number reveals what we secretly strive to be or accomplish. Some have said that this number tells us what we have been in previous lifetimes, the accumulated growth of our soul. Variety is what drives you. For this reason travel, the arts, education and self expression are areas where you are likely to be found. Freedom to choose, to move about without limitation, to absorb information and to observe life are imperative to your inner health and happiness. You crave stimulation and may be drawn to exhilarating adventures and death-defying sports. Your sensual nature will lead the way. Persona: 1 The Persona number describes the way we appear to the outside world, the first impression people have of us. We may not even be aware of how we are perceived by others because we are so often focused on our inner world, and many times the inner does not match the outer. Persona gives us a peek at some hidden talents we have. The talents that we use to get along in the world and in some instances, protect us from it. It is likened to a bag of tools (jewels) that we carry with us along the way. Others see you as a unique individual who always does their "own thing". Independent, capable and pioneering, you seem to take control of the situation and make it run effectively. You are very concerned with your image and always seem to dress in a way that gets noticed. Natal Analysis: September 10, 1986 Personal Year: 8 This is the time during which you will receive payment for the seeds you have sown in the past. The new beginnings made during the 1 vibration are now bearing fruit, and this may mean money, power, and recognition. This is also a time of making payment, and clearing debt. You are charged with a powerful energy now, that literally gives you increased physical strength and stamina, with which you can make great strides in whatever area you wish. Personal Month: 2 This is a month to give to others, meditate, and offer your shoulder to a friend. Play with your tarot cards and practice giving readings. This is a month for gestating and processing within. Personal Day: 2 Work in unison with others today. Give, cooperate, make peace. Pink, white or light blue is your hue. Get in touch with your intuition! Destiny: 7 The Destiny number describes the life lessons that we have come here to learn. It reveals to us the path we must take, and the role we must play to fulfill our mission. Often our choice of career is based on this vibration, and if not, then it will manifest through avocational pursuits. We may attract people and experiences into our lives that mirror the traits of this number for us, so that we may develop into our highest potential. We don't always welcome our life lessons, so it is a possibility that we may even feel an aversion to the characteristics of our Destiny number in other people, and we may ourselves act the opposite. In spite of the many ways we may choose to react to this force within us, we have been gifted with all of the talents and energy needed to fulfill our Destiny. You are an enigma to others and perhaps even to yourself. Your mind is like an arrow that can shoot deep into it's subject, analyzing and storing vast volumes of knowledge. Your introspective and intuitive mind then uses this knowledge to decipher your world's complexity of mysteries. You are a philosopher and humanity is waiting for your words of wisdom. Spirituality, phenomena and the occult are areas that may interest you, as are religion, science and mathematics. Cycles The destiny is divided into 3 great cycles, each governing us for specific durations throughout our life. The Seed cycle begins at birth and colors our experiences through childhood and adolescence. During the year nearest our 28th birthday, we move into the Fruit cycle which remains throughout the middle part of our life until the year nearest our 56th birthday, and the Harvest cycle carries on from there. Taken all together, the cycles show us our particular path that will lead to the fulfillment of our destiny. Seed: 9 When the 9 is the seed cycle it can be a very difficult time, because the requirement of selflessness is an antithesis of the natural desire for validation and acknowledgment. The child usually feels very alone, and set apart from the rest of the family. Sometimes they feel as if they were adopted, or they are aware at a young age that their relationship to their family is very temporary. Nine's usually set off in search of their destiny at a young age as they feel much older than their years. Fruit: 1 Initiation, independence, ambition and self-reliance are the key words during this cycle. It is a good time to work on the development and expression of original, and creative ideas. Self-confidence, strength of character and will are prevalent and success in your own business is likely. Harvest: 6 During this cycle you are likely to be surrounded by loved ones, neighbors, flowers, and pets. All revolves around your home and the magnetism of your warmth and love. Helping those in need is a common aim for the 6, and it is a good time to volunteer or organize fund raisers for your favorite charities. Pinnacles The four pinnacles reveal the high spots or heights of attainment that we are likely to encounter as we move along the path of our life. The 1st pinnacle lasts from birth to around age 28. The 2nd pinnacle lasts for 9 years after that. the 3rd pinnacle lasts 9 more years, and the 4th pinnacle carries on through the rest of our life. The peak of the pinnacle is reached during the next 1 personal year. Pinnacles are like sudden inheritances from a benevolent aunt, they can transform the prevailing energies completely and suddenly. It is useful to look ahead and prepare for our pinnacles so that we can maximize their gifts to us and shape them into the most positive manifestation. First Pinnacle: 1 This is the time for initiation, launching, and standing alone. When the 1 pinnacle occurs during childhood, it can be a difficult time because the inner sense of security is not yet developed and so the urge for self-reliance can be quite bewildering, both for the child and for the parent. Second Pinnacle: 7 This is a period of rest, contemplation, and philosophizing. There is a desire to dig deep into the mysterious recesses of self and ancient knowledge. Intuition and receptivity to the inner voice is very strong now and you are aware that little or no effort or action is required in the usual sense, everything flows into place in perfect timing. Third Pinnacle: 8 Good judgment, practical decisions and disciplined efforts are magnetizing abundance and prosperity to you during this period of accomplishment. Business and material success is very possible at this time, so think big! Fourth Pinnacle: 6 Children and animals flock to your nurturing energy now. Surround yourself with beauty and harmony and loving companions. Your wise advise is a benefit to all. Challenges The three challenges show us the major influences demanding our attention during specific sections of our lifetime. The 1st challenge influences the years from birth to age 28. The 2nd challenge takes over from age 28 to 52, and the third affects us our whole life. Challenges shape our attitudes and can affect our health. These vibrations that challenge us, cause either an exaggeration of the associated qualities or a lack of them, both of which are extremes which need to be brought into balance. First Challenge: 8 As children, 8's either had role models who exemplified power and success and the freedom that seemed to bring, or they had no image or encouragement to learn the value of money and material possessions. Either way, as young adults they develop an unbalanced view towards money and acquisition. They may believe that money buys love and affection or freedom, or they may spend everything that comes their way on frivolity without concern for every day financial responsibilities. Second Challenge: 5 As the challenge of adaptability the 5 is presented with an endless buffet of experiences from which to choose. Changes are either sought or forced until the 5 learns the dance of mutability, along with enough experience and knowledge to fill several lifetimes. The challenge is to find a balance between valuing freedom, food, sex and change too much or too little. Once a balance is achieved 5's can entertain the masses with their countless stories, and make money at it as well! Third Challenge: 3 The 3 is the challenge of expression. It is telling us to stop standing in the corner and to get out in the limelight. Dance, sing, paint, write, act, laugh and shower our gifts of creative inspiration on all the people around us. Those with the 3 challenge are usually shy or unsure of their talents and afraid of criticism. Personal appearance is also an issue with this challenge, as insecurity about one's appearance can lead to too much or too little emphasis upon it. A balance needs to be found between extravagance and mousiness, and it helps to remember that other people are much too concerned about themselves to be judging our looks or talents very seriously. I now love this song: Goodbye My Lover Back to Bedlam songs 1. High 2. You're Beautiful 3. Wise Men 4. Goodbye My Lover 5. Tears And Rain 6. Out Of My Mind 7. So Long, Jimmy 8. Billy 9. Cry 10. No Bravery Miscellaneous: Sugar Coated Goodbye My Lover by James Blunt Did I disappoint you or let you down? Should I be feeling guilty or let the judges frown? 'Cause I saw the end before we'd begun, Yes I saw you were blinded and I knew I had won. So I took what's mine by eternal right. Took your soul out into the night. It may be over but it won't stop there, I am here for you if you'd only care. You touched my heart you touched my soul. You changed my life and all my goals. And love is blind and that I knew when, My heart was blinded by you. I've kissed your lips and held your head. Shared your dreams and shared your bed. I know you well, I know your smell. I've been addicted to you. Goodbye my lover. Goodbye my friend. You have been the one. You have been the one for me. I am a dreamer but when I wake, You can't break my spirit - it's my dreams you take. And as you move on, remember me, Remember us and all we used to be I've seen you cry, I've seen you smile. I've watched you sleeping for a while. I'd be the father of your child. I'd spend a lifetime with you. I know your fears and you know mine. We've had our doubts but now we're fine, And I love you, I swear that's true. I cannot live without you. Goodbye my lover. Goodbye my friend. You have been the one. You have been the one for me. And I still hold your hand in mine. In mine when I'm asleep. And I will bear my soul in time, When I'm kneeling at your feet. Goodbye my lover. Goodbye my friend. You have been the one. You have been the one for me. I'm so hollow, baby, I'm so hollow. I'm so, I'm so, I'm so hollow.

I finished Justine by Marquis De Sade today. And boy did some parts of it were indeed, beyond my imagination. But yeah, poor Therese/Justine... her whole story sounded like she's better off dead. Even that bit seemed to elude her. My parents have the penchant for burning. In fact, they love burning, especially old stuff. Now, the recent victim, or rather, victims, are the red laces which was tied to the tree last Christmas of 2001. I want to save them, I really do. Oh dear, I should be executed for my love of sentimental value. This is, indeed, for future reference. Artmagick links. Ugh. Classes again tomorrow. Can't we just go to Hogwart's instead? It is good to work for the future, One respects the life of the foresighted. - King Khety Nebkaure Circa 2150 b.c. Scarab inscription sent to Lady Tiye: … the king’s great wife, Tiye, may she live, The name of her father is Yuya, The name of her mother is Tuya, She is the wife of a mighty king. I am your son who serves you, who exalts your name; Your power, your strength, are in my heart. You are the living Aten whose image endures. - Akhenaten circa 1340 b.c. God will attack the rebel for the sake of the temple, He will be overcome for what he has done… He will find no favor on the day of woe. - King Khety Nebkaure - Circa 2150 b.c. I take not a noble as protector, I associate not with a man of wealth, I place not my share in another’s care, My wealth is in the house of my lord. My lord is my protector, I know his might, to wit: A helper strong of arm, None but he is strong, Amun who knows compassion, Who hearkens to him who calls him, Amun-Re, the King of Gods, The Bull great of strength, who loves strength. Oh hail the Abhorsen Lizzie! Theme song now: Arkarna - So Little Time So little time... so much to do... And the Lizzie version... Don't you just want to SCREW IT ALL? Downloaded Danny Elfman's The Piano Duet... The one in the Corpse Bride OST. =D And then, there's Anela's notes: The Morphology of Arts as a Branch of Aesthetics By: Thomas Munro 1. Aesthetics as a way of studying the arts • What is aesthetics? - “A Philosophy of Beauty” - A subject that aims primarily at a theoretical understanding of the arts and related modes of behavior and experience; deals with all the arts - It investigates not only products but also the process and abilities involved in creating, using, enjoying, appreciating and evaluating the arts - It is not confined to any one period of art but compares the different periods to reveal their common and divergent traits - Could find out and demonstrate some eternal “laws” of beauty, inherent in the Universe • Why study aesthetics? - To satisfy an intellectual curiosity about the arts and their place in human experience - In art, we should not only look at the artwork but also dig deep and examine the procedure and abilities 2. Its transition to science • Aesthetics becomes more empirical, basing its conclusions on the observation of works of art and related phenomena • Aesthetics is a humanistic science (man and his arts are contrasted with nature • 3 Prerequisites to the scientific study of arts: 1. Psychology: general, naturalistic conception of human nature 2. Anthropology: shows how art arises and functions in different cultural settings and changes as a factor in social evolution 3. Securing of an extensive range of works of art for observation, representing nearly all major art-producing cultures and periods § Humanistic subjects can progress gradually toward scientific status as the prerequisites are used to develop it. Scientific status: observe and describe their phenomena more accurately, infer by controlled logical methods , to guard against prejudice, classify results systematically, formulate and test hypotheses about recurrent phenomena, predict and control outcomes with increasing reliability * Aesthetics becomes more empirical, concerned with observing and describing concrete data, becomes less purely abstract, less highly generalized, there is a more analytic observation of a particular work of art alone or in comparison with one or two others § There is a close cooperation between the philosophic and scientific approaches to aesthetics 3. Description and Evaluation § Description: - Confusion arises when statements of fact are mixed with judgment of value; yet values are facts in one sense (a peculiar kind of fact, unusually hard to investigate empirically) § Evaluation: - One must observe not only the artwork itself but its effects and functions, its consequence in human action and experience along various lines. - * Axiology or value theory: praising or condemning a style or art * Its chief concern is with the nature and varieties of form in the arts 4. Aesthetic morphology as descriptive study of aesthetic form § Two main groups of phenomena: 1. Works of art - Concern is for aesthetic morphology - Describing the works of art: how it affects observers, social functions for which they are adapted - Attention on the products - Pays close attention to both forms and ingredients in art; to their interrelations and mutual influences - Describes the nature and varieties of form in the arts and by extension in other objects of human or natural origin, in so far as they are used as stimuli to aesthetic experience 2. Consists of related human activities, modes of behavior and experience - Concern is aesthetic psychology - Describing behavior and experience in the aesthetic realm: focus upon works of art (before and after) - Attention on the people who make and use them * There are FORMS in both these phenomena * Morphology: to study of the forms which are observable in works of art 8 Aesthetic Axiology refers to both AM and AP § Form: mode of arrangement, includes physical and chemical structure of objects and events Task of aesthetic morphology to distinguish these various kinds of form: a. Elements, details, parts, materials, ideas or other ingredients involved b. The ways in w/c these are interrelated * Kinds of forms are what AM tries to analyze, compare, describe and classify § Functioning of art: the ways in w/c it pleases or displeases people § Apperception is the sense perception w/c involves a comparatively large amount of interpretation and understanding of meanings 5. Difficulties in observing and describing works of art § The complexity, subtlety and variety of forms in art are so elusive and intangible as to defy normal modes of observation § Difficulty in finding words for describing art w/c will not imply evaluation, praise or disparagement: must be accepted by all kinds of people § Over-specialization in studies of the arts: terms are used differently in different branches 6. Aims and values of aesthetic morphology § Form: entire structure of each individual example, its particular selection of materials and its way of arranging them; individual form is what distinguishes AM from other kinds of morphologies § Aims and values: - Primarily intellectual and scientific - Classify particular works of art under different headings (i.e. epic, lyric sonata etc.) - Pointing out how it exemplifies this or that quality, style or historic trend - Studies the peculiarities of individual artists and their works provide the basis for all judgments of value and of greatness - Improves techniques for perceiving and understanding the distinctive nature of a particular work of art § Morphology: begins and ends with detailed, analytical observation of the work of art, along with the attempt by each observer to report objectively what he has seen or heard; comparison of findings by many observers. It is gradually building a tested body of knowledge about the forms and species of form in art; we proceed to study how each kind of art operated in human experience: its functions and effects, actual and possible, under varying life conditions

Watched Domino last night. Tell ya what, Choco rocks my socks. Gotta love South Americans, I tell ya. Went to Tricia's burial awhile ago. It's sad and I tried hard not to cry, in which I succeeded. But something that Tricia did just made me feel that she did not forget me after all. I love you Tricia, wherever you are right now, when I see you again, I promise I'll teach you how to swim. Probably in heaven's beaches. *hugs* Anyhoo, they are watching Dreamer downstairs. Might go join them after a few minutes. Songs for personal reference: Venus in Furs - Velvet Underground The Rasmus - In The Shadows Come Together - Aerosmith Taro Gomi Scans It is sad that unless you are born a god, your life, from its very beginning is a mystery to you. You are conceived; you are born: these things are true, how could they not be, but you don't know them; you only have to believe them, for there is no other explanation. You are a child and you find the world big and round and you have to find a place in it. How to do that is yet another mystery, and no one can tell you how exactly. You become a woman a grown-up person. Against ample evidence, against your better judgment you put trust in the constancy of things, you place faith in their everydayness. One day you open your door, you step out in your yard, but the ground is not there and you fall into a hole that has no bottom and no sides and no color. The mystery of the hole in the ground gives way to the mystery of your fall; just when you get used to falling and falling forever, you stop and that stopping is yet another mystery, for why did you stop, there is not an answer to that any more than there is an answer to why you fell in the first place. Who you are is a mystery no one can answer, not even you. And why not, why not! -Jamaica Kincaid, Autobiography of My Mother

Last night, Aunt Espher and Uncle John came to the house to do some jogging, they also brought a yummy, but quite heavy banana cake. That night too, we saw a sick bird. Were kinda scared because the poor bird might have avian flu or something but I still took care of it for quite awhile. We gathered some pine needles and cracked corn and bisquits and made a home for the bird in a transparent plastic ware. I late tucked him in the plant outside, the one with the large leaves and made a little home for him, just in case he wants to fly away. When I got back an hour or so later, the bird was already gone. I just hope that wherever he is, he's alright and well. We also went to the church and mercury drug after with my cousin Jasper who is here now btw. Anyhoo, today, my cd writer is being such an arse. I was trying to burn Sharae's birthday gift but now it only burns 2 tracks and what? I wasted two blank cds! ARGH! The Blue Bugs Bunny one and my favorite black Astro Boy! Beached by Orbital, from The Beach Soundtrack Trust me It's Paradise This is where the hungry come to feed For mine is a generation that circles the globe in search of something we haven't tried before So never refuse an invitation Never resist the unfamiliar Never fail to be polite and never outstay your welcome Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience And if it hurts, you know what - it's probably worth it You hope and you dream But you never believe that something is going to happen for you Not like it does in the movies And when it actually does You expect it to feel different More visceral More real I was waiting for it to hit me I still believe in paradise But now at least i know it's not some place you can look for 'Cause it's not where you go It's how you feel for a moment in your life And if you find that moment, it lasts forever It lasts forever... Lasts forever... (fade) Voices by Dario G featuring Vanessa Quinones from The Beach soundtrack We sailed over seas Searching for the missing key Unlock a new world harmony Climb the highest mountain range Then we took the longest train Looking for our perfect refrain I hear voices beneath the sky... Went to school today early. Like 7:30 or so. I waited for like 30 minutes and probably finished off the battery of the mp3 player before I finally got a number. I got # 845 by the way. I came just after Zoilo. So anyhoo, after paying, I went to Starbucks and got myself a tall Vanilla cream, but the girl said that they have this Halloween promo in which they upsized my drink to Grande by paying only for tall. Lol. Then my sister texted me and asked to buy her food. I got her my favorite Chocolate Belgian Waffle and a chicken pandesal. I passed Economics by the way... 2.5. At last! Thank God! *crosses fingers* I checked it on the computers in Prom A but I'm kinda scared... because my grades in Economics still did not appear in my online grades thing. Oh fear be banished! Went to Ever afterwards where I saw The Smashing Pumpkin's Siamese Dream and Machina, the Machines of God. I saw a really nice flat shoe, some corduroy/suede garment and it's brown but I have no monies. :( So yeah, we bought mango tango roll cake and chocolate marble ice cream. Dad called btw and he said that he's passing by the Philippines. Anyhoo, last night, as Nestor and I are on way to Ate Norji to get my Lost dvd, we passed by a deserted street where you can only see candles. There was even a candle stuck on top of the dead end sign and me and Nestor where joking about the way of the dead and stuff like that. And on the way home, I saw my very first live owl. It's white and big with a sort of circular head. Like a snow owl. I'm excited coz I saw one but then I felt bad because they shouldn't be here in the city. They should be back in the woods. :( Nanowrimo news: Was able to finish Chapter two! Current word count: 3832. I'm still in half of Chapter three... Chapter Two of the Winter Horse. COPYRIGHT: L. Aranas. Chapter 2: Glimp & Glomp As Lillian rode Winter Horse, she was able to observe her surroundings and realize how strange her environment seemed to be. She knows that she doesn’t remember anything about her, but something tells her that this is not how the world around her should look like. It was winter, she is sure of that, the trees shouldn’t have leaves but the trees in this forest still have leaves. Leaves now covered with hardened ice. They looked like trees blooming in spring, when suddenly, a cold blast of wind had frozen them and left them entrapped inside the wintry frost. The clouds never stopped to swirl and looked like its going to rain any time now. Then it started to snow. The snow fell softly to the ground. The fall of snow seemed to last an eternity for Lillian and she constantly feared that Winter Horse’s feet would be trapped in the soft snow and that he wouldn’t be able to trudge through it but to her surprise, she saw that Winter Horses’ hooves never touched the ground! He was drifting a few inches from the snowy ground… and the falling snow, they never fell exactly to the ground but fades when they reach the same level as Winter Horses’ was drifting at. Winter Horse knew what things crosses Lillian’s mind. Therefore he decided to tell her things about the world she is currently in. ‘In this world, the seasons start with the Winter, then the Autumn, then the Summer, and lastly, Spring.’ ‘Oh.’ She replied, dreamily. Winter Horse kept on telling her things about the land, and Lillian listened. This world, these surroundings seemed strange to her but she found it fascinating. The frozen roses in bloom made her stop Winter Horse. Winter Horse stopped and bent down so that Lillian could get off him. ‘You cannot pick anything though.’ Winter Horse warned. ‘Oh I won’t pick anything… I don’t have the heart to!’ Lillian replied as she kneeled in front of a red rose bush. Her hands tracing the delicate blooms of a rose frozen in ice. ‘How sad, sad for such beauty to not enjoy the warmth of spring!’ She thought. She was lost in her own thoughts when a small voice brought her back to the ground. “… Yo! Winter Horse!” A small, but shrill voice tore the silence of the forest. Lillian looked around but could not see anyone in sight. Winter Horse, on the other hand, smiled and looked up a pine tree. “You both were late. Glimp and Glomp.” Winter Horse replied, haughtily. Lillian looked at the direction Winter Horse was looking and saw two fat, furry, spotted white and brown hamsters that look almost exactly the same. The sight of the two hamsters caught Lillian off guard. Then suddenly, a vision crossed Lillian’s mind. She was running, running inside a house, there were walls, dark ebony walls… then she opened a wooden door… bright light spilled into the room… then she saw a man, a man whose feet she only could make off, then she went to a table… there was a parcel… she opened it, and inside were a cage... she was lifting the iron cage… then a bright light shined through… brighter than the one which was spilled in the room for this light emitted a certain kind of iridescence as it shimmered, and burst into a thousand glimmering prisms… Lillian felt dizzy and almost fell if it were not for Winter Horse who supported her. She saw the two hamsters on the ground now, but they would not go near her. Lillian’s eyes hurt, they felt strained and tired and her head felt like a thousand tons… she couldn’t make out any of her surroundings anymore. “… not her, again…” the Glimp was saying. “She is one of the lost now.” Winter Horse replied. “… but Winter Horse… she is still… her.” Glomp protested. “That is why she is here. You have your orders coming from the Master.” "Hush now, she's coming to her senses…" said Glimp. "Hush…" replied, Glomp. Lillian struggled to get up. As she stood firmly, her eyes searched for Glimp and Glomp but they were nowhere in sight. Lillian grimaced, she was sure that they were there before. "Glimp & Glomp, where are they?" asked Lillian. "Glimp, Glomp… come out now." Demanded Winter Horse. Glimp and Glomp came out behind a boulder and scurried behind Winter Horse and climbed on his tail. Lillian saw Glimp and Glomp climb Winter Horse's tail, smiling, she came up to them but Glimp and Glomp looked at her with fright in their eyes. "Don't be afraid, Glimp and Glomp. I wouldn't hurt you". Said Lillian as she opened her hands for Glimp and Glomp to jump in. "Go on, you two sluggards. Lillian can't hurt you now." Said Winter Horse. Glimp and Glomp jumped into Lillian's hands. "Do you want to go with us, Glimp and Glomp?" asked Lillian. The two hamsters looked at each other and nodded. A look of distrust crossed their faces, sighed, and nodded again. "We are meant to go anyway." They both replied at the same time. "You want to hang into Winter Horse's tail, mane or stay warm in my pocket?" said Lillian, kindly. "Stay in her pocket, you two, since I don't want fleas hanging on any of my locks." Said the cheeky Winter Horse. Lillian gently put Glimp and Glomp in her pocket, folding some of the seams to make them feel warmer and comfortable. "Hang in there you two, for Winter Horse is a swift rider. You don't want to fall, don't you?" "Don't worry about us, Madame." Chorused the hamsters. Lillian looked dreamily ahead. "I wonder, where did you two come from?" Glimp and Glomp looked questioningly at each other. "From the Ash tree over there you mean?" said Glimp, pointing one tiny furry hand into an old, unnoticed Ash tree whose bark looked twisted and burned, a stark contrast to the white veil of Winter. "Yes, but we also used to live in #109 Rochester Ave, East Port, Daineshire, in Unumterre." Glomp interrupted as he tugged Lillian’s pocket tighter. “What happened? Why did you guys leave? It must be utterly warm in that place.” Muttered Lillian as she climbed Winter Horse. Glimp and Glomp gave each other a quirky look, finally, Glimp replied “We’d rather not tell, for it was a grim memory.” Lillian was about to ask the hamsters another question if not for Winter Horse telling them to hold on tight as he started his speedy gallop, following the road, if ever there was such a thing seen through the snow. “Aye, Winter Horse, where are we going?” Asked Glomp. “See, Winter Horse, I’m not the only one curious here.” Said Lillian with a naughty smile in her face. Winter Horse sighed. He was instructed not to tell, under all circumstances, but then, there were those so called ‘special circumstances’. Winter Horse frowned, almost all the Fallen have ‘special circumstances --- those which need exceptions.’ Inwardly, Winter Horse thought that everything were farce, but then again, it is the all knowing Master to whom his services are bound. Then again, he has to make this exception now… “To Sir Nicholas de Montmorency.” Winter Horse answered with a defeated groan. “Aye! That madman!” chorused the hamsters. “Madman?” asked Lillian. “Yes, madman. Raving, insane, crazy crackpot of a young knight.” Said Glimp. “Aye yes, more than that! And even worse! He does not have anybody else in his estate, but him alone. Poor, wasted young knight. Good looking yes he is, blonde hair…” said Glomp. “Yes, hair the color of maize in a bright summer afternoon.” Said Glimp. “Eyes, eyes as blue as the tropical blue sky but most of the time, it has the dread of the midnight sky.” Said Glomp. “But poor boy, he thinks scare crows are his soldiers…” said Glimp. “And mannequins as peasants…” said Glomp. “Dear me, he must’ve been through something… depressing, indeed.” Lillian mused. Winter Horse had been listening to the conversation of his riders while he gallop swiftly on to the de Montmorency estates. ‘Those two who had fallen before the new Fallen. They knew a lot, so it seems. They really are, I dare say, inquisitive and such, pardon the boldness, but rather, loquacious.’ Mused Winter Horse. ‘Glimp, Glomp, my dear friends, remember what we have talked about?’ said Winter Horse effervescently. Glimp and Glomp swallowed and blinked their tiny eyes in the cold, they had almost forgotten. “Oh so you guys know each other… like, really know each other eh?” said Lillian, her triumphant smile crossing her face once again, the smile that hints of finally getting to know the things that surround her, the mystery of this weird place and Winter Horse, the speaking Hamsters Glimp and Glomp… she is finally getting close to the truth… or so she thinks. If there is ever a truth, or such a thing as truth in this place. Unfortunately for her, Winter Horse knows her thoughts, for Winter Horse had watched and known her even before she can say that she knows herself. In short, Winter Horse, whose real name was Asrafael, had been her silent guardian, throughout her whole life in Unumterre, even before she had become one of the Fallen. But of course, that fact, that most important fact, is unknown to the Fallen Lillian. She can only thrive on what was given to her, in order for her to reach the fork in the road, that is, if she can redeem herself and succeeding in whatever circumstances that Master might think of giving her what was due. And the first circumstance, was Sir Nicholas de Montmorency. “Yes, dear Lillian. I know them. As I know everyone and everything.” Replied Winter Horse.

Cleaned some stuff today while I was listening to the mp3 cd that I made yesterday. November 1. Tomorrow, hopefully, I'd be able to go to school and pay for my enrollment. I just hope that the sucky registrar won't delete our slots and that I would be able to finish early. I see it as kinda ironic though. The school wants our money and they still make us go through all the crap just to pay them. It is as if they don't want the money. While we poor students pay for them to torture us. People. Pfft. Anyhoo, found this online etymology dictionary thing. Bwahahahahaha! edit: (1:45 PM) Did upload my first excerpt of my novel up in Nanowrimo! See my new updated profile here. Anyhoo, here's the first chapter of The Winter Horse: (I've done the outline, character descriptions and other stuff before but now I typed fast!) The Winter Horse By © Lizzie Aranas Chapter 1: The Meeting The sweet sound of bells and the deep ringing of chimes accompanied the heavenly shimmer of light as the Winter Horse’s hooves felt the cold, hardened ground. The season chosen for this duty, was winter. The Winter Horse looked up into heaven and saw the sky darken. Heavy black clouds swirled into the sky, blocking the white heavens from his view. Cold winds swept past him but he wasn’t bothered. None of nature’s elements could affect him. Only the Master will. The Winter Horse shook his head. ‘I should be going now; the girl might wake up anytime soon.’ Thought the Winter Horse, with that, he looked up in heaven, up to the spot where the heavenly light came from not so long ago and then, with a look of understanding, he nodded his head. ‘Yes, Master. The journey will start now.’ And with that, the sky turned completely overcast as the Winter Horse trotted off, twirling white smokes as his powerful hooves hovered over the ground. The Winter Horse sped off as he ran drifting over the ground, running in a straight course. He knew exactly where to find the girl… the Master told him so, when at last, he saw her. She was sleeping beside a rock in a clearing. She looked exactly as she used to, only paler and thinner. She was still fast asleep, her bushy, dark brown hair was let loose, and her lips that were once so red faded into the color of a fading carnation. She was wearing a long, white coat with ruffles sewn at the collars; she had a light blue pair of pajamas underneath the coat. He stopped and let his hooves touch the ground. The Winter Horse stood in front of her as the girl slept peacefully in a fetal position. He watched the faint smile that adorned her pale face. ‘Wake up, little girl.’ The Winter Horse said as he nudged her. The girl stirred, and then slowly opened her eyes. The Winter Horse nudged her again. ‘Come on now… get up young Miss.’ the girl opened her eyes wider, her right hand trying to shade her eyes from the weak glare and blinked them over and over. She sat up and stretched… then, as if coming to her senses, looked at the Winter Horse. ‘Who are you?’ she asked, innocently. ‘I am the Winter Horse.’ The Winter Horse replied as he stood straight. The girl picked herself up and straightened her white coat. Then suddenly, a look of panic crossed over her face. ‘Where am I?’ She asked the Winter Horse in horror as she looked up and saw the black sky and then the snow covered trees. ‘You are, where we are.’ The Winter Horse replied. The girl looked at the Winter Horse with dismay. There is something peculiar with this creature. She thought. ‘But, where exactly are we?’ She insisted. The Winter Horse smiled. ‘We are, where we are. Do not doubt me, Lillian.’ ‘Lillian?’ The girl said, questioningly. ‘Yes’, Lillian Gershwin. That was your name. Lillian Gershwin.’ The girl smiled, yes, she kind of remembers that. ‘Yes, I am Lillian. But… Winter Horse? Isn’t it? I’m confused… what do you call this place?’ ‘Somewhere.’ The Winter Horse replied. Lillian sighed. The Winter Horse will never answer her questions the way she wanted her questions to be answered. Besides, she doesn’t know anything. Well, she does know her name, but that is only what she remembers. Everything seemed to be a blur to her whenever she tried to remember what happened before she opened her eyes. Whenever she tried to remember things… she felt fear. Fear about the present, fear about where she is, fear about what will happen… and fear, in general. She does not fear the Winter Horse though, because she felt that the Winter Horse could be trusted, but deep inside of her, she can’t help thinking that there is something peculiar about him. Also, she doesn’t know where she is. She doesn’t even remember where she came from. But she felt that she is sure of one thing, that she does not belong to that place. To the cold, solitary, winter wasteland. The Winter Horse observed Lillian’s face as he looked down on her. He saw the look of fear, curiosity, and unknowingness pass over her face. ‘She will know one day.’ The Winter Horse said to himself as he watched her staring over into the dark forest, lost in her own thoughts and uncertainties. Tears started to run down Lillian’s face as she felt weaker. She sat back into the snow and wept. ‘I don’t know… Winter Horse.’ She whispered as she said tears. The Winter Horse smiled down on her. ‘Do not cry Lillian. You will find answers to your questions.’ ‘But how? I… I am lost. And… and I only know my name. I’m not even sure if that is my real name.’ ‘That is why I am here Lillian.’ Lillian looked at him… ‘Why, you are here? I do not understand.’ Lillian felt even worse. The Winter Horse, even though he is kind, makes her feel even more lost and confuse than she already was. His answers were bizarre and make her think even more. The Winter Horse, on the other hand, understood completely what Lillian is going through. They were all like that, he thought. She wasn’t as different as the others. They all come here with nothing but a sliver of memory. A sliver of memory that would only give light once you sparked it. ‘Stop crying Lillian. Gather yourself, for we will go into a journey.’ He said, kindly and rather persuading. ‘What journey? To where? And… for what?’ ‘To find out the answers.’ ‘Answers?’ ‘Yes, the answers to all your questions. And to help you remember.’ Lillian stood up and again straightened her pajamas. Wiping the tears from her eyes, she patted the mane of the Winter Horse and kisses his forehead. ‘You’ll help me? You really will?’ She asked as she smiled. ‘That is why I am here for.’ He said as he bent down for her to be able to climb on his back. Lillian threw her arms around him as she kissed his forehead once again. Then a look of uncertainty crossed her pale face again. ‘But where are we going? And how are we going to find out the answers?’ ‘We are going to a journey for you to find out the answers.’ ‘Dear Winter Horse, you are kind and unique, but your answers annoy me.’ She said as she shrunk from him. The Winter Horse stood up. ‘Little girl, the answers I give you, are the answers that I should give you. I am not here for you to question. I am not here for you to pry things out of me. I am not here for you to make you realize things. Instead, I am here to help you learn from everything that we will encounter in our journey. I am simply here, to guide you and help you.’ Lillian bowed her head. ‘I am dreadfully sorry.’ She said, sadly as Winter Horse bended once again to let her mount. This time, she mounted him. ‘Lead on, Winter Horse.’ She said as Winter Horses’ hooves drifted from the ground again as he sped off towards the dark, snow covered woods. Richard: And me, I still believe in paradise. But now at least I know its not some place you can look for, cause its not where you go. Its how you feel for a moment in your life when your apart of something, and if you find that moment... it lasts forever... ~ The Beach

Halloween. All Hollow's Eve. One of my favorite days of the year, next to Christmas of course. It's sad coz my village suck and that we don't have trick or treating here. Yeah, coz I live in fucking pre-historic, now-my-computer-won't-get-me-online and that's what's worse village. And let's not forget our selfish neighbours who only think of their own signals. Bloody dunces. My computer just disconnected and now when I try to get online it says wrong password and access denied, even if I typed the right shit. Ah, bloody! This lunch time, I've been making my audio cd gifts for Sharae and O'Neal. I don't know what's wrong with my Media player this time but Sharae's only burned 13 songs, make that 12 because The Horizon Has Been Defeated only turned out to play for the first 30-something second of the song. O'Neal's... the last song wasn't able to finish. Now I have to redo Sharae's. Why does technology ALWAYS GOES AGAINST ME JUST WHEN I DON'T EXPECT IT NOT TO! I forgot to blog about this but yesterday, while I decided to hang the glow in the dak skulls on the gate, the electric plug on the front lawn flared up as I was stooping down to get an umbrella coz it's raining so hard. I was kinda shocked since the socket flared up and had this loud BUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZTTTTTTTTTT sound so I ran back inside and told Allens to shut off the main switch. Thank God nothing bad happened to our internal electric circuit though. Anyhoo, Nestor and Mum fixed it and then they left me to go to Hi Top and did a little grocery. I finished The Constant Gardener while eating Lay's sourcream and tuna. We went to church that night and then after that, met up with Ate Norji to get The Legend of Zorro and Serenity. Songs that I want: Killing Me - Graham Colton Band Isn't this just unbelievable? This site is certified 30% EVIL by the Gematriculator This site is certified 70% GOOD by the Gematriculator
